10 Ways to Engage Your Students in Jesus’ Ministry

Jesus’ ministry was about more than preaching the good news of salvation. As He walked upon this earth, He showed people His great love by healing and serving them. He recognized the needs of others and met them. Through this type of ministry, Jesus connected with the people He met.

Starting with Jesus

As a Lutheran school teacher, I keep these lessons in mind as I serve families. How are Lutheran schools meeting the needs of parents and children in ministry? We provide quality education to help students grow in this world. Students have a safe and kind place to make friends. Most importantly, we share the love of Jesus and the promise of eternal life for all who believe in Him.

Jesus’ Ministry Activities

How can you help your students know of Jesus’ ministry? There are over 10 options for you to choose from. There are no-prep packets that are ready to print for preschool through grade six. You can use Google slides for grades three through six. For fourth-grade teachers, I love the project-based learning unit that guides students through the aspects of Jesus teaching in the Bible. There are new options including Bible centers for second-grade teachers and BIble lessons for kindergarten teachers.
