Moses and Aaron have many lessons to teach us. They show us that we each have a different role to play in life. God created us specifically to fulfill those purposes. Aaron also shows us how easy it can be to go astray. He fell into the cultural traps of the people around him. Finally, he also reminds us that we should not criticize others. He was bothered by Moses’ choice of wife, we learn that we should respect the people that are a part of God’s plan.
One Body, Many Members
As teachers, we also serve an essential role within God’s plan. Sometimes, we don’t always see our purpose in a student’s faith walk. We might simply be planting seeds that will bloom at a later day. God gives us the tools to teach and guide students through God’s Word. We are given a special opportunity to serve within the body of Christ.
Moses and Aaron Activities
How can you teach your students about Moses and Aaron? If you are a kindergarten teacher, there are five Bible activities to go along with Moses and Aaron. First-grade students can create a flip book, a craftivity, and a worksheet about Moses. There are also twelve centers about Moses and the Exodus for second graders. Fourth-grade students have an entire project-based learning unit about the stories of Moses. This story can also be found in the no-prep packets for early childhood to sixth grade as well as the Google slides for third to sixth grade.
