Using Them in the Classroom
Are you looking to use the fruits of the Spirit worksheets for your classroom? My students loved them as a change to their normal routine. Each fruit includes a Bible story that they read before writing a summary response about the passage. Then, each fruit has a word search. They really loved these, and they enjoy helping each other complete them. Next, there is a coloring page that uses a color by code. Finally, there are four Bible verses for the students to look up in their Bibles and match to the reference. These activities are for the third and fourth grade level. They do vary slightly by age, but you can see samples of these in my store.
I actually chose to use this style of unit for the book of Acts, so I am sending the fruits of the Spirit worksheets home with students as summer packets. I often send home math packets and encourage reading. After making these resources for distance learning last year, I have found many ways to repurpose them. Many of my students were excited to see a way to stay connected to their faith this summer.
