Christian classroom themes became very popular on Pinterest almost a decade ago. Students love to walk into their classrooms decorated with fun decorations and themes that exist throughout the space. They can unite the classroom around a common theme that transcends decor into the morale of the class family. Finally, classroom themes can reenergize a teacher after we have spent years walking into the same space every day.
My Experience
When I first began my TPT store, I thought I needed to have one of those beautiful classroom themes. While my store was the catalyst, I came to love the decor in my classroom. My first theme was a Minecraft gaming theme chosen by the students. My second theme is the Narnia theme that I have in my store today.
Christian Classroom Themes for Your Space
I like to create Christian classroom themes around decor that are currently popular in teacher catalogs and dollar stores. When I created Narnia, I found snowflakes on Oriental Trading and a woodland border in a teacher catalog. I added some special touches like fake snow on top of my cubbies with white lights and a mini lamppost. I also purchased bathroom passes that are hand-painted with crowns and snowflakes. They are the kings for the boys and the queens for the girls. Finally, I used digital paper and fonts to redesign all of the paper in my classroom. That included table labels, cubby tags, classroom jobs, a calendar, and so much more.
If you are looking for ready-to-print classroom themes to help you get started, I have a Be Still farmhouse theme and the Narnia theme for your Christian classroom in my store.
