10 Activities for Abraham of the Bible

Abraham of the Bible provides us with a spiritual role model of such a capacity that we cannot even fathom. Abraham was willing to give up everything for God, including his son. He knew how to live his life by faith, not through his own control. Abraham focused on God’s promises to provide everything that He required of him.

Teach by Faith

Teach by faith. Ministry can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be incredibly challenging. Like Abraham, we are called to teach by faith. We don’t always see the path in front of us. People don’t understand God’s purpose in our ministry tasks. We can’t see God’s great promises that He has for us.

Abraham of the Bible

How can you teach your students about the story of Abraham? If you are a kindergarten teacher, there are five Bible activities to go along with the story of Abraham. First-grade students can create a flip book, a craftivity, and a worksheet about Abraham. There is a thank you note writing activity in the Genesis centers for second graders. Fourth-grade students can learn about blessings and conflict resolution for Abram and Lot. This story can also be found in the no-prep packets for early childhood to sixth grade as well as the Google slides for third to sixth grade.
