Holy Week activities for middle school help your students learn about this important week. Teachers can create a space where students can disconnect from their busy lives. Students can focus on the events of each day of the week. Teachers can encourage them to not only learn about the week but reflect on God’s Word.
Finding Resources for Middle School Students
I am a fourth-grade teacher, but I have taught kindergarten through grade eight Spanish for most of my career. Because of this, I love to create for a variety of grade levels. Sometimes, it can be a challenge to find resources for middle school students, so I hope this will help you in your classroom.
Holy Week Activities for Middle School
Your students can learn about the days of Holy Week with sketch notes. Students love to take out markers and take notes creatively. The other two options might be better for younger middle school students. There are no-prep packets that take students through Holy Week with a writing activity, Bible verse matching, a design activity, and a word search for each story. The Google Slides resources include prayer journals, video links, sequencing activities, questions, Bible verse matching, and a design activity.
