Holy Week is approaching soon. Have you been looking at the date on your calendar all year? Your class has chapel this month. Have you been nervously thinking about this for months with no perfect idea in mind? However, you are not alone. Chapel skits are my number one most requested resource.
An Act of Faith
I don’t know about you, but my students love to act. They love to learn their Bible stories through this method. Whether it is a quick response to a story we just read or a month long production for this year’s socially distant Christmas program, they love to tell the story through motion. How can you teach the days of Holy Week through a chapel skit?
Holy Week for Kids
I am so excited to offer four new chapeI skits for Holy Week. These plays help students create a message using the reader’s theater for worship in the Christian classroom, Sunday school, or chapel. The skits are created for a wide variety of classroom sizes and can be modified to fit your needs. They are about four pages long and take about five minutes to act out. There is a skit for first and second grade, third and fourth grade, fifth and sixth grade, and seventh and eighth grade.
What do other teachers have to say about these chapel skits? They love that they are short and succinct. Subsequently, teachers appreciate the modifications to include the whole class. They are perfect for different levels of students. And best of all? They are well-organized and easy to use just for you!
