Does your Bible curriculum need a refresh? Textbooks can be great tools, but there’s nothing better than getting your students in the Word. It can be difficult to know where to start so here’s a couple suggestions of fun Bible activities for kids that work for all varieties of classrooms.
Let’s Get Learning
If you’re like me, you learned the names of the books of the Bible by singing them. And again, if you’re like me, that song still plays through your head when you’re trying to find one of the more obscure books and can’t quite remember the order. The things you learn in elementary school stay with you! That’s why it’s so important to develop good Bible study habits at an early age. Pick a song and sing it every day and try one of these options for more Bible activities for kids.
Bible Activities for Kids
If you’re ready to move beyond the song, set up this Books of the Bible game where students can sort the books by category and practice putting them in order. Or decorate your classroom with a Books of the Bible border and bulletin board set which can be a powerful memory tool for students. Get your youngest students familiar with some of the most important Bible stories by using these sort and match games. Get into the Word with your students this year!
