This action sparked the Reformation, a period in history that saw the church returning to the true teachings of the Bible and regaining an understanding of grace, faith and forgiveness that had been lost for many years. Reform your October
When I was younger Reformation Day was bigger than Halloween at my school. The candy, costumes and parties were in celebration of God’s preservation of his church rather than in ghosts and goblins. Jack-o-lanterns and scarecrows can be fun, but let’s fill our October with good theology this year instead of bats and skeletons. Celebrate the grace instead of the gravestones and a monk instead of monsters.
